Pebblezine Oct 2012-present – as a member of the music team I have gained a wider insight into reaching a niche audience through my work and working to deadlines


AFC Bournemouth Media Department Sept 2012-present- through interviewing players, making video features, writing match reports and running live-blogs, I have boosted skills across all media


Nerve Magazine Sept 2012- present – writing features and reviews for the student magazine has given me wider scope and a knowledge of how to reach a student readership


Bournemouth Rock Sept 2012-present – forced me to work to a stringent deadline, whilst improved my interviewing technique for features. Also working in a small team on the sports-desk has improved communication skills, partaking in editorial meetings etc.

Bristol Evening Post,Jul 2011 – conducted interviews with sporting professionals, worked in a team, to a deadline - also improved knowledge of lay-out and design by working with sub-editors

Waitrose Supermarkets, Portishead, August 2010-September 2012


Supermarket assistant on a part-time basis working on Fresh Foods. I was responsible for handling cash sums, ensuring quality customer-service, running the section, ensuring that tasks are done to the correct standard at a busy store. I was also the PartnerVoice representative on behalf of part-time staff, a role which saw me liaise with management and staff across the business.

Interests and Hobbies: I enjoy playing football within University, for an intramural side, maintaining my online sports blog, travelling and karaoke.
